Gas Discharge (HID) bulbs are becoming more and more popular. They offer a Super bright white light (up to 5000 kelvin) and much longer life hours than halogen bulbs (Up to 3000 hours).

HID bulbs do not contain a filament. The glass bulb contains Xenon gas which is ignited using two electrodes. The voltage required to ignite the gas is very high (up to 24,000 volts). Therefore, we recommend a specialist fitting.
